Louis Vuitton Unveil The ‘Volez, Voguez, Voyagez’ Shanghai Exhibition

Louis Vuitton Unveil The 'Volez, Voguez, Voyagez' Shanghai Exhibition

Today (November 15), Louis Vuitton unveiled the ‘Volez, Voguez, Voyagez’ exhibition at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, with three of their favourite European ambassadors.

Léa Seydoux: While I love the colourful Spring 2019 runway look, Léa’s laid-back version and cool-tones are very indicative of her no-fuss style.

Alicia Vikander: We are more accustomed seeing LV’s favourite girl in custom looks, but she opted for a Spring 2019 look straight off the runway with a playful mish mash of prints and colour.

Sophie Turner: The British actress took a leaf out of Lea’s style book with her colour palette pairing. That blouse from the Spring 2019 collection isn’t my favourite, but she managed to somehow make it work.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Spring 2019

At the Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 show on Tuesday (October 2) during Paris Fashion Week, there were almost too many LV lovelies to count — and a few good men, too.

Cate Blanchett: The hero piece of Cate’s look was clearly the statement jacket that was a glitzy constellation of embellishment — and signature LV logo-lined cuffs — to jazz up the sophistication of the moody-dark ensemble.

Alicia Vikander: As per usual, the actress effortlessly customized an LV look to her chic standards; this one bringing in boho flair with its mix of patterns, autumnal hues, and the floral tapestry coat about her shoulders. Some would say the cross-body purse was a bit big, but she made it fit right in.

Thandie Newton: The allure of this lacy dress was balanced with the tailored jacket on top. And, can we just talk about Thandie’s gorgeous hair.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019

A handful of lovely ladies were in attendance at the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019 show at Fondation Maeght on Monday (May 28) in Saint-Paul-De-Vence, France.

Emma Stone: The actress stepped out in glittering trousers which played off of the contrasting collar in the white blazer. It was a different outfit compared to what everyone else wore. I fear that some might get hung up on the vintage references, namely, the oversized peaked collar and chunky gold belt.

Laura Harrier: The ‘BlacKkKlansman’ star showed off her pins in a mini which fused opposing patterns and was tied up with a corset waist. I was charmed by the more minimalist looks from the designer she wore to Cannes, and find myself missing some of that simplicity here.

Ruth Negga: Brightening things up, she stayed true to her retro-tinged, feminine style while celebrating the designer’s aesthetic in this sweet look. The way the pleats echo the three-dimensional detailing of the top is most attractive.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Fall 2018

Nicolas Ghesquière debuted his latest offering for the Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 6), with a number of the designer devotees in attendance.

Sienna Miller: After attending the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party this past Sunday, Sienna was back on the fashion front row here. Her casual look was full of ’70s, boho charm with the ruffled top and high-waist, cropped denim—topped off with a ladylike finish in her stacked pumps and black-and-white handbag—although I can see some questioning the stark contrast of hues against her outfit.

Jennifer Connelly: I know there was an intentional long and languid aesthetic to these separates, but between the sleeves and the hem, both seemed just a bit too droopy.

Emma Stone: As the latest brand ambassador—also fresh from the Oscars—Emma represented the LV label more successfully here in this paisley frock. I like the unexpected twist to the girlish offering with the peplum jacket, and the additional edginess delivered via the over-the-knee boots.

An Evening Honoring Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquière

‘An Evening Honoring’… an annual fundraising event for the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund, paid tribute to Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière with ‘The Women’s Leadership Award’ on Thursday (November 30) in New York City.

The award was presented by Jennifer Connelly, to celebrate his many years of excellence in the fashion industry.

As you’d expect, the same list of ladies, and gents, who’ve shown their support for recent LV events were in attendance, plus Nicole Kidman.

Ruth Negga: Of the winged trio here, Ruth is the most successful at pulling off this Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 look. Dreamy in parts with a sheer and leather overlay giving the look an edge, there really is nothing she can’t pull off.

Michelle Williams: The actress perhaps went with the most safest interpretation of this Spring 2018 look, and I have a feeling many will consider this a tad washed out and too one note. I think that she looks really pretty, and to be honest, I’m glad she played it safe. Complicated LV styles overwhelm her in my opinion.

Jennifer Connelly: While I will tip my hat and have huge admiration for Jennifer for going with probably the trickiest look in the Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 collection, my feeling is she has bitten off a little more than she could chew here. There’s way too much going on, and it doesn’t feel as cohesive as the other two ladies.

Sophie Turner In Louis Vuitton – ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Premiere

Sophie Turner opted to lend urbane edge to the premiere of HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ season 7 on Wednesday (July 12) in LA.

Some might say this Louis Vuitton Resort 2018 t-shirt dress is too casual, but I feel this boxy style is glam but understated, oozing plenty of youthful appeal.

Dressing up the sparkling piece with Veronica Lake waves, cat-eyes and strappy sells the look to me.
