Dakota Johnson Wore Saint Laurent To The ‘Splitsville’ Cannes Film Festival After-Party

After twirling through the Splitsville premiere in her pink, fringed Gucci confection, Dakota Johnson did what any seasoned Cannes pro does: she slipped into something a little more relaxed for the after-party—and gave us a Saint Laurent moment worth talking about.

Trading in drama for rock-and-roll bohemia, Dakota wore a Saint Laurent cowl-neck dress that struck that sweet spot between seductive and effortlessly elegant. With its deep neckline and slinky silhouette, it felt like the kind of dress you wear barefoot on the beach at midnight—glass of champagne in one hand, sea breeze in your hair.

The autumnal floral print might have sparked a moment of “haven’t I see this before?—and for good reason. The same motif appeared on Saint Laurent’s Fall 2025 runway, though on silicone-coated fabric. Dakota opted for the safer route here, thankfully. It felt more in tune with the low-key after-party vibe.

And because Dakota knows a good story is told in the details, she kept up her festival-long affair with statement earrings, rounding off the look with Boucheron’s exquisite Plume de Paon earrings.
