Jeremy Strong’s Colour-Confident Cannes Closet is the Antidote to Predictable Menswear
Menswear at Cannes Film Festival has a habit of falling into a very neat, very black-tie-shaped box (unless your name is Alexander Skarsgård)—but not if Jeremy Strong has anything to do with it. If there’s one man on the Croisette who’s allergic to the standard black tux, it’s him. From pink to salmon on day one, to a taupe moment for the Kering Dinner, Jeremy has been painting the town—and his wardrobe—in every shade but safe.

L’Oréal Paris Dinner in Honour of Women in Cinema
He shared a peachy colour palette with Halle Berry, stepping out in a custom Loro Piana look that delivered tonal sophistication with ease. The look was softly tailored, supremely elegant with brown leather shoes keeping the finish grounded.

The Phoenician Scheme premiere
This mint green Loro Piana suit (complete with a matching bow tie and green Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses) had serious Riviera charm. The shawl collar added a formal flourish, while the mint hue made it feel relaxed and breezy—perfect for Cannes. I’ll overlook the black shoes, because honestly, that suit deserved its spotlight, and the whole look carried a sense of effortlessness that’s deceptively hard to pull off.

The Mayor of Cannes’ Annual Aioli Lunch
Jeremy dove into his retro bag and pulled out a silk satin Lanvin look that could’ve stepped out of a 1978 photo album—in the best way. The blouson high neck and shade of mauve tones made this feel equal parts nostalgic and refreshing. It was the kind of left-field choice that keeps Cannes menswear interesting

Some might call his style eccentric, maybe even a bit gimmicky. I’d call it committed, fun and refreshingly him. Cannes menswear, take notes.
