Charlotte Le Bon Wore Balenciaga Haute Couture To ‘The Phoenician Scheme’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere
Charlotte Le Bon doesn’t do the “gala gown” thing. She never has. So if you were expecting tulle, volume or anything remotely Disney-princess-coded from The White Lotus actress at The Phoenician Scheme premiere, you will be disappointed.

Instead, she gave us what she always gives us — something cool, something unfussy, and entirely true to herself. This time it was a black beaded fringe-embroidered mini dress from Balenciaga’s Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection. The look was sleek, modern, and unapologetically not Cannes-core… and I loved it anyway.
While everyone else was floating around the Croisette in layer upon layer of organza and tulle, Charlotte stood her ground in a look that felt more Paris Fashion Week than Riviera red carpet — and honestly, it worked for her.
The simple updo kept the focus on the dress, while the patent leather Balenciaga pumps tied everything together with a sharp little bow.
It’s not what we usually expect at Cannes, but it’s 100% what we expect from Charlotte. Cool, collected, and never trying too hard.
