Irina Shayk Wore Elie Saab Haute Couture To The ‘Dossier 137’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Irina Shayk has been in her demure era at Cannes Film Festival, and while some might call her looks so far a little too restrained, I’ve appreciated the shift. That said, I did wonder—where’s the drama? Where’s that Irina?

Well, she heard us. For the Dossier 137 premiere, Irina gave us a style plot twist in Elie Saab Spring 2025 Haute Couture. The black strapless mermaid gown, adorned with feathers and crystals, served just the right amount of gothic glamour. Add wet-look hair, red lips, and sheer opera gloves and we were suddenly in deliciously dark romance territory—and I loved every inch of this.

What seals it for me is how different the black version feels compared to the blush pink runway original. The softer version wouldn’t have landed the same way. Irina’s mood at this festival has been smouldering and mysterious, and this look taps into that perfectly.

It’s dramatic without being obvious, sexy without the sheer overload—and easily her strongest Cannes moment yet. Do you agree?
