Jenna Ortega’s Bold Beetlejuice New York Press Tour: A Fashion Rundown
We have been treated to a whirlwind of eye-catching looks as Jenna Ortega promotes her new film, ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’. Each outfit has been a testament to her evolving style and her ability to blend youthful rebellion with sophisticated elegance.
Here’s a breakdown of her looks from the weekend to Monday.

Dolce & Gabbana’s Youthful Edge
Over the weekend, Jenna served up a Dolce & Gabbana look that had me swooning. This ensemble has everything—on-theme without being too obvious, a trending cropped blazer from the Fall 2024 collection, a boned bustier, and a lace-insert skirt that oozed youthfulness and sex appeal. The shades, which have become her new signature accessory, added an extra layer of cool to this already flawless look. It’s the perfect blend of boldness and refinement, setting the tone for her New York press tour.

Vivienne Westwood’s Rebellious Spirit
Jenna’s second look channeled the youthful, rebellious energy of Gen-Z in a Vivienne Westwood pinstripe suit. The cropped blazer and corseted mini skirt screamed fun and defiance—the kind of look I was hoping to see on this tour. I’m not always a fan of platforms, but the Vivienne Westwood Elevated Ghillie pumps paired with laddered tights made for an ideal match. Her Le Specs Last Lolita shades and a KASUN Love Till Death lapel pin completed the look, giving it that perfect edge.

Agent Provocateur Meets Cong Tri
For those who love a bit of contrast, Jenna’s next look was a real treat. She wore a striking customised Mercy Corset by Agent Provocateur, featuring a half-and-half design—one side black, the other ivory—creating a franken-look that was both unique and captivating. This was perfectly complemented by a black satin Cider skirt and tailored blazer from the Cong Tri Fall 2024 collection. It’s a shame that her hair covered—or perhaps the floral detail on the blazer was removed—but even so, the Le Silla Uma slingbacks and SOLO for Diamonds jewels ensured this look was a standout.

The Subtle Switch to Rebecca Minkoff
On the ‘Today Show’, Jenna switched out of her Agent Provocateur corset for a more subdued Rebecca Minkoff lace cami, continuing her black and white theme. It was a quieter look, but still in keeping with the gothic-chic vibe she’s been cultivating throughout this tour.

Schoolgirl Chic with a Twist
What would this press tour be without a nod to school girl chic? Jenna’s custom Dzojchen shirt layered under an AS by DF Mercury leather bralette had a thrown-together feel that made it look totally authentic. Paired with pop socks and Vivaia Julie Pro white and black heels, this outfit hit the sweet spot between curated and casual, adding another dimension to her already diverse wardrobe.

Thom Browne’s Perfect Homage to Lydia Deetz
For fans of the original ‘Beetlejuice’, Jenna’s Thom Browne look was a stroke of genius. Paying homage to her co-star Winona Ryder. In the 1988 film Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) returns home from school and asks Adam to use his possession powers on the furniture. He complies and the furniture starts moving as “Jump in the Line (Shake Señora)” begins to play and Lydia Deetz and the Maitlands dance together.
Jenna nailed the homage/thematic look. The trompe l’œil Ozias bag reading “Handbook for the Recently Deceased” was an inspired touch, as were the preppy Thom Browne Thom John black and white Mary Jane brogues. Even if you’re not on board with press tours being so on-theme, you have to admit this one was a stroke of genius.

Madame Webb
Jenna’s final look gave off serious Madame Webb vibes, leaving us wanting more. Dressed in Dion Lee, it’s clear that Jenna’s fashion game is stronger than ever. Whether you’re here for the homage or the high fashion, Jenna’s ‘Beetlejuice’ press tour is one to watch.
As Jenna continues her promotional tour, it’s clear that she’s not afraid to take risks and push the envelope with her style. Each look tells a story, blending youthful rebellion with thoughtful homage, making this a very exciting press tour, as I predicted it would be.
