Kate Mara Wore Prada To The Mercy For Animals Hope Gala & ‘Black Mirror’ Events

My sister and I couldn’t be more different when it comes to our outfits.

She is the all-black wearing all-of-the-time sister, while I love colour.

There was a time when you could tell the Mara’s style apart, because Rooney was my sister, and I was Kate.

But I’m sure you’ve noticed from Kate’s recent red carpet appearances, that she has been moving more and more towards a more nondescript style, and I have to say I’m missing those sparkling embellished and colourful looks which were once her signature.

I mean, this Prada re-nylon mini dress trimmed in brown leather wouldn’t be out of place in Rooney’s closet, but this is now becoming the norm for Kate.

The look could have been punched up with the styling, but a simple Prada clutch and pumps completed her look.

With the name of her Netflix series being ‘Black Mirror,’ I think is it safe to say this promo tour will be on theme.

Seeing the actress in this Prada navy tricotine miniskirt and a blue embroidered striped shirt gave me some hope that the old Kate is in there somewhere.

I guess she just needs the right event to pull that signature style out of her, and it can’t come soon enough for me.
