Kerry Washington Wore Sergio Hudson Promoting ‘Thicker Than Water’

Kerry Washington shared a picture to Instagram of her outside the Apollo’s Festival of Arts and Ideas, where she continued to promote her new memoir, ‘Thicker Than Water,’ in New York on Sunday (October 8).

If I was to say to you that Kerry was wearing denim and plaid without showing you the picture, what would spring to mind?

A lumberjack. 

Or Kate Moss walking the runway for Bottega Veneta’s Spring 2023 show?

Well neither would be right, as the actress wore a denim bustier and plaid trousers from the Sergio Hudson Spring 2024 collection.

What makes this classic pairing unique in this instant, is that the denim is up top and plaid makes up the bottom half of the look.

If you’re anything like me, you are feeling that the look isn’t complete.

I don’t think the look needed the runway pink coat, but I am curious how this look would have turned out with a cream shirt layered under the bustier, or a matching cropped plaid blazer.
