Yara Shahidi Wore Ferragamo To The Nasdaq Day Of The Girl 2023 Market Opening Bell
To celebrate International Day of the Girl, Nasdaq, Teen Vogue and Culture House invited Yara Shahidi to the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to ring the Opening Bell today (October 11).
The event was saw Lola Tung (Amazon’s ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’), Antonia Gentry (Netflix’s ‘Ginny & Georgia’), Sophia Kianni (‘Climate Cardinals’) and dozens more incredible young women (honour roll students, debate champions and local activists) from the NYC community in attendance.
But all eyes were on Yara, who is having a moment with the colour red.
Following her red velvet dress in Paris for the Alexander McQueen Spring 2024 show, the actress wore a Ferragamo Contemporary blazer dress from the Spring 2023 collection with Christian Louboutin Slimini Botta black embossed leather knee high boots.
The last time the actress wore Ferragamo you weren’t impressed, at all.
But I’m convinced that this will be better received on account of the sharp, fresh tailoring, alongside the boldness of the hue.
If you are looking at this and wishing that Yara had worn red strappy sandals, Letitia Wright did just that when she wore the same blazer to the EBONY Power 100 event back in October 2022.
