Hailey Bieber Shows That Tonal Brown Is Set To Rule This Autumn
If you have been on this site for some time, you will know that my least favourite colour (along with black and grey) was brown.
I worshiped at the altar of colour and pattern and fun, but I would dismiss brown without reason or hesitation.
But then at some point, I can’t pinpoint when, I became obsessed with how shades of caramel, and chocolate were combined to wonderful effect.Now, we regularly see iterations of the brown tonal looks down the runway—and I honestly can’t get enough, to the point where my wardrobe is mostly made up of shades of coffee, mocha, caramel, walnut, cinnamon, and taupe, along with shades of green which complement those hues.
So seeing Hailey Bieber stepping out in this Saint Laurent long sleeve jersey dress with Saint Laurent Lee glazed leather slingback pumps, with a matching glossy lip and tights I was immediately obsessed.
The colours may all be in the same pecan family, but the textures add a richness, preventing the look from falling flat.
If I had Hailey’s legs, I would be recreating this look.
