Daily Front Row’s Fashion Media Awards

Daily Front Row's Fashion Media Awards

A host of models and actresses joined Priyanka Chopra and Nicki Minaj on the red carpet for the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Media Awards on Thursday (September 6) in New York City.

Gigi Hadid: Smoulding in Paco Rabanne’s Pre-Fall 2018 lurex drape asymmetrical top and skirt, the looks feels both sensual and chic. I love how the snappers down the side keep it modern and cool – alongside a sharp slit that shows off some skin.

Ashley Graham: This black dress could’ve been Zac Posen or Vivienne Westwood, but it’s actually Matičevski. This is a gorgeous piece, from the waist down. I’m not quite sure the bodice is that flattering, or secure.

Slick Woods: This is one unique way to approach red carpet style, fearlessly and on your own terms in Nina Ricci Spring 2018. More power to her. The model added more feathers with her Brother Vellies ‘Palms’ sandals.

2018 Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

There was no shortage of drama at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Celebrities joined, Janet Jackson, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez.

Padma Lakshmi: The ‘Top Chef’ host glimmered in The Blonds. It had sensuality and shimmer, but it would have benefited from editing. Had the sequined fabric been on the bustier and the satin as the draped layer, it might have been more successful.

Hailey Baldwin: The model took the plunge in Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2018. The draping is splendid but the colour doesn’t do anything. The black version from the lookbook would have been preferable or a rich jewel tone. Not even the Jennifer Fisher jewels could enliven it.

Cyn: Cannes showcased a few similar looks to this Saint Laurent Fall 2018 dress, but with much stronger shoulders. The arm likely won’t prove as irksome as the heavy ruching on the skirt and the placement of the tie.

‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

There were plenty more ladies who joined Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Araya A. Hargate and many more on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ during Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 12).

Kendall Jenner: Someone please set up a Go Fund Me page for Kendall Jenner, the poor girl left LA without a single bra. I jest of course, but I’m getting tired of photo shopping her nipples out of the picture. The model wore a heavenly Schiaparelli Fall 2017Haute Couture tulle gown embroidered with polka dots plus a trompe l’oeil belt.  The look was styled with Chopard jewels.

Golshifteh Farahani: The Iranian actress wore a Chanel Spring 2016 Haute Couture gown which I love for the shimmering fabrication and delicate embellishments. On this occasion the necklace doesn’t overwhelm the look.

Models @ 2018 Met Gala

Naturally, the models were out in force for the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City. Here’s what these ‘heavenly bodies’ had on.

Ashley Graham: Channeling a bronzed goddess moment, the model donned an Atelier Prabal Gurung sequin-encrusted gown that introduced a dramatic, Met-ready sensibility with the long, satin-edged cape. The leg jut was put to work, with Taski jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals completing the look.

Bella Hadid: I’m sure many will be raising their hands in praise that Bella opted for something a bit more covered than her naked bodysuit from last year’s Met Gala. This custom Chrome Hearts x Gareth Pugh design riffed on sinner and saint with the dark glamour of the latex corset and sculptural, villainous cape and fingerless gloves. This would have been all bad-girl were it not for the cross necklace and cross-embroidered veil that trailed behind her.

Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City was positively brimming with beautiful fashion moments. Attendees joined Sarah PaulsonGreta GerwigZendaya Coleman and Elle Fanning.

Hailey Baldwin: The model showed a softer side in Ellery Fall 2018. This was a nice change of pace from her typical on-trend style. There’s a magical quality from the prismatic fabric, silver shoes and pared-back styling.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress looked elegant in Prada. Given some of the high impact looks, I expected more drama from her. This still oozes sophistication, but I would have loved to see her in something head-turning like her Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ look.

Naomi Campbell: Combining a whimsical white coat with a sultry dress, she most definitely made a statement in Sukeina Fall 2018. The juxtaposition of the angelic frills with the sensual dress is dynamic and her unique interpretation of whimsy. Some might find it jarring, but it did succeed in commanding attention.

Hailey Baldwin In Zuhair Murad Couture – Bert Marcus’ The American Meme’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Red might just be Hailey Baldwin’s favourite red carpet colour, if this latest look from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2018 Couture collection is anything to go by.

The model went full glam for the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival world premiere of Bert Marcus’ The American Meme’ on Friday (April 27) in New York City.

Does it feel a bit too much for a Tribeca Film Festival premiere?

Perhaps, but I’m living for the drama and glamour nonetheless.

I have no issue with the sheerness of the look as the embellishments are truly captivating.

My only gripe is that I wish her underwear wasn’t so stark. Had the shade been closer to her skin tone this would’ve been perfection.
