The BFI London Film Festival Greta Gerwig: Screen Talk took place on Sunday (October 8), with the director taking center stage where she talked about the billion-dollar box office smash hit ‘Barbie,’ and why she will never act in her own films.

You won’t be surprised to see that Greta is wearing all black or a tailored blazer, but you might be surprised to see that Greta wore this Khaite Cedar dress from the Spring 2023 collection.

That’s because despite the simplicity of the ribbed knit design, the dress falls to a flowy fringed hem which gives the look an unexpected edge.

I would love to have seen this dress in motion, because I can imagine that with each step the look would come alive thanks to this fringe-laden skirt.

By Greta’s standards, I would say this is quite risqué.

Gold jewels and simple black pumps completed her look.
