Jessica Chastain Supports The SAG-AFTRA Strike At The ‘Memory’ Venice Film Festival Photocall

Jessica Chastain attended the photocall for her new film, ‘Memory’ held during the Venice International Film Festival on Friday (September 8).
According to Deadline, at the press conference Jessica was asked if she had considered not attending the festival amid the ongoing labour action, to which she replied, “Yes, I was incredibly nervous to be here today, and actually there are some people on my team who advised me against it.”
So she used the occasion to show support for the movement by wearing a SAG-AFTRA On Strike t-shirt with a simple black Gucci button front skirt.
When outlets were reporting that celebrities will be toning down their looks at Venice Film Festival, were they referring to Jessica Chastain?
I guess we will have to wait for the premiere tonight to see.
Personally, I hope she doesn’t, but considering her admitted guilt about being at the festival, I have decided to temper my expectations.
