Ava DuVernay Wore Prada & Louis Vuitton To The ‘Origin’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Photocall
Ava DuVernay attended the premiere of her new film, ‘Origin’ held during the 2023 Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday (September 6).
I was delighted to see the director wearing a colour other than her signature black.
This lemon Prada dress, with its off-the-shoulder silhouette, brought elegance to the red carpet with a nod to Old Hollywood charm.
The label’s Prada plaque had to be featured somewhere, and I’m glad it was only located on the gold Prada triangle leather pouch.
As I said in Benedetta Porcaroli’s post, Miuccia Prada loves to add darts to the bodice of her dresses. On this occasion two were added. But I’m not sure what the purpose is, if it can’t prevent that dent in the bodice.
Chopard yellow-coloured diamonds earrings and a necklace from the Haute Joaillerie collection completed her look.
For the photocall, Ava wore her second Louis Vuitton look during this festival.
On this occasion it was heavy on the monogram logo, which I’m guessing will turn many of you off this look, but I loved the fresh summery appeal.
