amfAR Gala Venezia 2023

Rita Ora wasn’t the only celebrity to attend the amfAR Gala Venezia 2023 presented by The Red Sea International Film Festival on Sunday (September 3) in Venice, Italy.

It would appear that sheer gowns was the M.O. for the British girls last night.

Kate Beckinsale joined Rita when it came to head-turning gowns.

Kate will always give you an OTT moment, and this Georges Chakra Fall 2023 Couture gold bodysuit, draped with a black mesh caftan featuring gold foil tassel details, was exactly that.

As I always say, you kinda have to admire the commitment and the consistency.

Chopard jewels completed her look.

I wish Camila Mendes’ summery floral Miu Miu dress didn’t have those black accents.

Considering the floral colours would’ve been a better option.  Do you agree?

This would’ve been the best look of the night otherwise.

Following her red carpet appearance for the Golden Lion For Lifetime Achievement Award, Carla Bruni wore a Saint Laurent olive one-sleeve dress which flaunts an elegant silhouette, and displays the brand’s refined approach to classic styles.

I love how the graceful, gathered detailing adds to the sleek aesthetic that Saint Laurent is renowned for.

Chopard jewels, Saint Laurent Dive satin crepe sandals and the Saint Laurent Hinge minaudiere completed her look.

Ava DuVernay looked just as elegant wearing a custom Louis Vuitton black keyhole gown with Chopard jewels.

The only thing I would change is the clutch, swapping the monogram piece for something as understated as her dress.

You just knew that Milla Jovovich’s dress was Prada.

Considering how many custom gowns they have created for her that have fallen flat, I’m surprised she keeps going back for more.
