Carla Bruni Wore Valentino To The Golden Lion For Lifetime Achievement Award

Carla Bruni made an appearance on the red carpet for the Golden Lion For Lifetime Achievement Award and ‘The Lion’s Share: A History Of The Mostra’ event held during the 2023 Venice International Film Festival on Saturday (September 2).

If your idea of the perfect red carpet gown takes on a darkly romantic persuasion, then this Valentino gown created by Pierpaolo Piccioli for Carla fits the bill.

Placing the emphasis on its feminine silhouette by way of the halter neckline, and keyhole, plus the silver floral accent, this is a black gown that’s big on elegant impact. 

I’m sure there will be some that will say that the slit is too high, or that the designer should have opted for one sultry element: either the keyhole or the slit, but I can’t help but be totally mesmerized by Carla in this gown.  

As you know I’m not a fan of sunglasses on the red carpet, but Carla has this aura in which she can pull anything off.
