Front Row @ Fendi Spring 2023 Couture
Kim Jones presented Fendi’s Spring 2023 Haute Couture show in front of a celebrity packed front row.
Adèle Exarchopoulos and creased Fendi outfits continue work hand-in-hand.
Even without the creases, this was a terrible outfit.
One look in the mirror and I would’ve immediately said ‘No” to myself, then changed.
Amber Valletta opted for three shades of Fendi grey. I adore this look for being season appropriate, and oh-so chic.
I know logos aren’t favoured by most, but I did also love the monogrammed lined coat.
When it comes to Courtney Love’s Fendi look, I love the colour and the boots, but the turtleneck feels like it belongs to someone who doesn’t have a rock chic persona, and the skirt speaks for itself.
Emilia Jones fared better in her Fendi look but the wedges make zero sense here.
Both with the outfit and from a seasonal standpoint.
I don’t think the feeling will be shared, but Kerry Washington is the best dressed up to this point.
I adore the colour, the season appropriateness of the styling and the stark contrast of the lace tights and black pumps.
Going matchy would’ve been overkill here.
Milly Alcock seems a better fit for this Fendi turtleneck, but those Fendi pieces with cargo pockets accented with the FF logo are not working for anyone in this front row.
Case-in-point. When it comes to Miriam Leone it’s a no to everything from the waist down.
Shalom Harlow finally presented a full Fendi look that I can fully get on board.
The look is both edgy and chic.
Rita Ora was also able to successfully present her Fendi look.
I would’ve loved a different colour Fendi clutch, but the neutral tone was probably the right way to go considering that she opted to match her lip colour to her outfit.
Sarah Paulson is a woman after my own heart.
This fashion week I wore mostly menswear as I am loving the bagginess and comfort of men’s trousers and sweaters at the moment, so I’m delighted to see that Sarah and I were on the same page.
It feels like we have been witnessing the rebirth of the colour brown first hand, and the key to it’s success is picking the right shade.
Sarah’s cinnamon Fendi suit was just that if you consider the hair colour, and how the warm tone was perfect for her skin-tone.
Sarah attended with her partner Holland Taylor, who followed suit in terms of opting for a slight oversized fit.
