2017 GQ Men of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more femmes took to the GQ Men of The Year Awards red carpet to celebrate the fellas on Tuesday (September 5) in London.

Jourdan Dunn: I love how the flash of red brought an eye-catching finesse to the supermodel’s Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2013 Couture sculpted gown that celebrated sumptuous velvet, as we transition into fall-facing looks.

Winnie Harlow: While Winne wore her Julien Macdonald Fall 2017 chainmail-esque harness gown with model prowess, it still seems to be something we’ve seen before. Sheer? Check. Slit to there? Check. The sultry glamour in her long waves and matte red lip also contributed to the overtly sexy vibe.

‘The Beguiled’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

More stars took to the red carpet for ‘The Beguiled’ LA premiere on Monday (June 12), joining Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, and Kirsten Dunst.

Emma Howard: Self-Portrait’s signature lace was put to work in this one-shoulder, cutout dress from the Fall 2017 collection. My biggest issue here was with her eggplant-hued platform sandals, as they completely compromised any allure of the frock.

Sofia Coppola: While this Valentino Pre-Fall 2017 dress was very much in keeping with Sofia’s no-nonsense, effortless-chic aesthetic—as well as her favouritism for the colour black—I love the delicate femininity afforded by the pink floral print with her makeup echoing that boho-romantic spirit.

Courtney Love: Silk-satin dresses can be tricky to wear, and unfortunately this Roksanda Zenku Spring 2017 open-back design fails to flatter, between the droopy sleeves and the dropped waistline. The heavy-handed makeup and equally intense shoes don’t help matters here at all.

Courtney Love In Roksanda – Netflix’s ’13 Reasons Why’ LA Premiere

Whenever I think of Courtney Love, dishevelled rock star springs to mind, but that wasn’t the case when she stepped on the red carpet for the premiere of Netflix’s ’13 Reasons Why’ on Thursday (March 30) in LA.

The actress donned a Roksanda Resort 2017 dress which showcased the designers penchant for colour-blocking with an extension to floral prints.

The vintage feel of this dress does take this look down a rather mumsy path on Courtney, but she managed to pull it back with the magenta strappy sandals.

Courtney Love In Vivienne Westwood – AIDS Solidarity Gala & Life Ball 2014

Courtney Love In Vivienne Westwood - AIDS Solidarity Gala & Life Ball 2014

Courtney Love attended the AIDS Solidarity Gala 2014 held at Hofburg Vienna, and the Life Ball 2014 held at City Hall in Vienna, Austria on Saturday (May 31) wearing two Vivienne Westwood dresses.

AIDS Solidarity Gala 2014: The first was a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label burgundy wrap dress adorned with glistening sequins but without the usual Westwood nuances. This dazzling frock, featuring puffy sleeves and a V-neckline, was styled with pointy black pumps and a black clutch.

Life Ball 2014: The second look, which she wore on stage during the event, was classic Westwood, with the signature corset working overtime.

For Courtney, the first look is great; she looks surprisingly polished. But I can’t get over the excessive boobage and restrictiveness of the second look.

Courtney Love In Saint Laurent – ‘Stand Up Guys’ New York Premiere

Courtney Love looked to be in great spirits when she took to the red carpet on Sunday evening for the New York premiere of ‘Stand Up Guys’ held at MOMA.

I thought I was done with the Saint Laurent Spring 2013 collection, thanks to Lady Gaga who made it go stale very quickly, but Kate Moss and Salma Hayek have managed to breathe new life into this collection and Courtney has joined them.

The rocker has had some great times, some eyebrow-raising times and some frankly shocking times on the red carpet; this will go in the great times section.

Opting for one of the collection’s many boho maxi dresses with sheer sleeves and a tiered skirt, she styled the look with the same tasselled runway leather corset belt and a black shoulder bag.

It’s great to see Courtney looking so well dressed and healthy.

Who Wore Miu Miu Better? Anna Dello Russo, Camilla Belle or Courtney Love

Of the 39 piece Miu Miu Fall 2011 collection, this white floral print dress is proving to be the most popular.

Having seen the dress up close earlier this week, I was interested to learn that the floral print is accented with sequins.

Anna Dello Russo gave this dress its first outing when she attended several menswear Spring 2012 shows during Milan Fashion Week last month.

The Editor at Large for Vogue Nippon was never going to opt for a simple predictable heel.

Anna wore Miu Miu crisscross glitter ankle boots with from the same Fall 2011 collection, with green drop earrings and a gold clutch.

Next up was red carpet regular, Camilla Belle.

She wore Miu Miu glitter pumps with her floral dress to the Miu Miu Presents Lucrecia Martel’s “Muta” event just last week.

Looking as gorgeous as ever Camilla added a simple Miu Miu pink clutch, Cartier jewels and pretty pink lips to complement her dress.

I am shocked to see Courtney Love wearing this Miu Miu dress to Ladies Day at Goodwood racecourse in Chichester, England yesterday.

The singer has such extremes in fashion going from “Fashion Forward” to “Hot mess” to “Screaming hot mess”, but she was surprisingly demure on this occasion.

With an elaborate feather fascinator and beige leather gloves, her lady-like look was paired with Giuseppe Zanotti snake-effect leather T-bar sandals and a snake-skin shoulder bag.

Anna wins for me on this occasion.

I ruled Camilla out because the dress makes her look thicker around the waist and Courtney Love’s snake-skin bag is so out of place with her look.

Courtney Love In Roberto Cavalli – 2011 El Museo Del Barrio Gala

Courtney Love was in New York City last night to attend the 2011 El Museo Del Barrio Gala.

Someone take my temperature because I’m can’t believe I’m going to say this.

The singer actually looked pretty good in her Roberto Cavalli gown.

I’m shocked because I don’t think I’ve liked a single Courtney Love red carpet look in about 2 years, but this beaded sequin gown is really working for her.

Not only that but she’s doesn’t look like she just stumbled out of bed.

Her make-up is actually very pretty and her hair is reasonably under control.
