Chanel @ MoMA Film Benefit
The MoMA’s 15th annual Film Benefit honored Academy Award-winning director Guillermo del Toro on Thursday (December 8) in New York City, where the event raised funds to ensure that great works of cinema continue to join the collection of The Museum of Modern Art.
There were a number of celebrities in attendance wearing Chanel.
I feel like a moment where Ariana DeBose isn’t wearing taffeta and is sporting her natural hair colour is a win.
The Oscar-winner wore a Chanel Resort 2023 red, black and white printed silk muslin dress that some might feel is too summery – especially considering this event was held in New York – but I love the effortlessness and free-spirited nature of it all.
Chanel Fine Jewelry, including the Coco Crush earrings, and a Chanel bag completed her look.
I think it was safe to say that the general consensus was that Chloë Sevigny kind of lost her mojo this summer.
Her red carpet comeback during the Venice Film Festival for the ‘Bones & All’ promo tour wasn’t as exciting as we expected, and that had nothing to do with the meteoric rise of her co-star Taylor Russell.
When it comes to the actress in this Chanel Resort 2023 navy glittered muslin top and a black iridescent jersey skirt, it feels more like the Chloë we all know and love.
Edgy (as edgy can be in Chanel) with some quirks that feel authentic to her style.
Chanel Fine Jewelry, a Chanel bag and Chanel pumps completed her look.
H.E.R., who performed at the event, wore a Chanel Resort 2023 black, white and navy tweed jumpsuit.
Although styled with Chanel Fine Jewelry, I feel like this look needed a bit more in the accessories department.
But I’m not advocating for the runway styling here.
Sofia Boutella made me swoon in this Chanel Resort 2023 white lace jacket and skirt styled with Chanel accessories.
Often Chanel is labelled as “old-fashion” but I love how Sofia makes this ladies-who-lunch look appear really cool.
It’s all in the attitude.
