2022 Latin Grammy Awards
Here is a roundup from the 2022 Latin Grammy Awards which was held at the Michelob ULTRA Arena on Thursday (November 17) in Las Vegas, Nevada, where a host of celebrities joined Becky G and Anitta.
Christina Aguilera had a very successful night, picking up Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for ‘Aguilera.’
Remember when I said that as much as I liked Claire Danes’ recent Zac Posen look, the drama I associate with the designer was missing.
Well Christina Aguilera’s custom Zac Posen look was giving enough drama to take over this entire red carpet.
That ruffle neckline, the colour, the David Yurman and Fabergé jewels all served to celebrate and elevate the diva that is Christina Aguilera. Â
Zac Posen understood the assignment.

Between the colour and this liquid fabric, I do like this look, even though I prefer Ciara’s presentation when she wore this dress back in March for the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Laura Pausini didn’t go the cut-out gown route, as she wore a Givenchy Spring 2022 pleated tulle dress styled with the designer’s signature U-Lock jacket.
I’m obsessed with these Givenchy thigh boots.
Mexican actress Melissa Barrera wore a glittery Zuhair Murad Resort 2023 fringe sequin cross halter gown which I would’ve loved without the sheer portion of the skirt.
Had this been cut to an asymmetrical, fringed hem mini, I would’ve been on board with this.
Clarissa Molina had a sultry moment in David Koma.
Nicki Nicole got lost on her way to the ‘Wednesday’ LA premiere methinks.
The chocolate brown red carpet trend is gathering pace.

It’s usually at this point when I moan about the illusion panels, but that is the least of my worries when I see Goyo in this Usama Ishtay gown.

Yalitza Aparicio was back on the red carpet wearing a Pablo Rivera two-piece look styled with Cartier jewels.
This is the Latin Grammys, therefore this style of look is expected. So it would be a little unfair to judge this look alongside her 2019 awards season run.Â
