Halle Bailey Wore Georges Hobeika Couture To The 2022 Wearable Art Gala

Halle Bailey attended the 5th annual Wearable Art Gala honouring Angela Bassett and Mark Bradford was held at the Barker Hangar on Saturday (October 22) in Santa Monica, California. 

As you know I am super excited for Halle’s promo tour for the ‘Little Mermaid,’ but when I saw her in this Georges Hobeika Fall 2022 Couture dress, my enthusiasm started to wane.

I am as surprised as I am disappointed by this dress.

This dress does nothing for her.

The expression on Halle’s face tells me she wasn’t all that comfortable in this dress, plus I don’t feel that she has the height, or attitude to pull this off.

Would this be a better look for Cardi B or Alessandra Ambrosio? I can’t say I like the dress at all, but I can see both of them making a better go of this.

I’m pretty sure Disney would not sign off on these style of dresses for a promo tour.
