‘Empire Of Light’ London Film Festival Premiere

Olivia Colman, Claire Foy and Michael Ward attended the UK premiere for ‘Empire of Light’ on Wednesday (October 12) which was held during the 2022 London Film Festival.

Olivia Colman looked every inch a leading lady wearing a black Jenny Packham embellished swanwing sweetheart gown from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection.

Gowns with a cape are my achilles heel, and Olivia looks so regal here, so I’m choosing to ignore the fact that her stylist should’ve dressed her in a balconette bra.

Cartier jewellery and a Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch completed her look.

Claire Foy also made a black dress with added sparkles her red carpet M.O. for the night.

She wore an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2022 Haute Couture v-neck gown which I’m sure you’re quick to notice has been modified from the runway.

I think Claire could’ve rocked this either way, but I was not surprised that she opted for a more modest version of this dress.  At the end of the day, I’d rather feel comfortable than worrying about a nip slip.

Claire’s look was styled with a beautiful pair of dangling diamond earrings, and Aquazzura Aura Plexi sandals.

BAFTA winner Michael Ward was looking very sharp in his Dolce & Gabbana cobalt blue Martini-fit suit.

It’s not often I take much note of a shirt, but this slim collar shirt heightens the modernity of this outing.
