Elle Fanning Wore Sharon Long To The 2022 Emmys

Elle Fanning attended the 2022 Emmys on Monday (September 12) in Los Angeles, California, where she is nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for ‘The Great.’

I love how Elle enlisted ‘The Great’s’ costume designer Sharon Long to create this ‘50s inspired gown for the actress.

After all, the gowns Sharon Long creates for the show plays a part in Elle successfully playing her character Catherine The Great.

We all know how much Elle loves a blush hue.  In this case it adds a softness and delicacy to the dramatic nature of the black gown.

I love the idea, the styling – especially the hair – and the execution, but it would be remiss of me to not say that this fabric can be unforgiving.
