Zendaya Wore Valentino To The 2022 Emmys
Zendaya is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for ‘Euphoria’ at the 2022 Emmys which was held on Monday (September 12) in California.
As we all know, Zendaya has been carrying these events on her back for quite some time.
Everyone was expecting her to do that most, so I love that she switched things up on us again and gave us quiet elegance in Valentino.
That is not to say that I haven’t enjoyed the theatrics and the drama that Zendaya and Law Roach create (you know I live for those moments), but it’s also a pleasure to see her take her foot off the gas, so to speak, and serve up a simple black gown that feels like a homage to old Hollywood.
Even the hair and makeup had an air of lightly teased and barely there.
As a result, she looks so much younger here. Do you agree?
The only downside to this look is that the internet won’t have an opportunity to add this to her signature pose catalogue.
Bvlgari jewels completed her look which was especially designed for her by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli who was inspired by the Valentino FW 87/88 collection.
