Zooey Deschanel Wore Dolce & Gabbana To The ‘Dreamin’ Wild’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Zooey Deschanel attended the ‘Dreamin’ Wild’ premiere during the 2022 Venice Film Festival on Wednesday (September 7) in Italy.

As you know I love Zooey’s style, so this is going to sting.

As pretty as this light blue Dolce & Gabbana satin gown is, it’s not really working for her.

I really wanted an enchanting, fairy tale moment for Zooey for her premiere, and there are many looks from Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda recent collections and archives which would’ve been perfect for her, but this custom gown didn’t hold up.

Nothing is more heart-breaking to know something is custom and to see how badly it fits.

Firstly, it’s way too long. Which is why you get see those dents in the skirt, plus the hem looks a little uneven.

The bodice needed to be taken in more as it looked loose and baggy in places.

The ruffles needed a fluffer, and this fabric was very unforgiving.

I want to blame the poor lighting, but even if this was a daytime premiere, the glaring issues would remained.

Aside from the colour, I did like the embroidery detail and the Dolce & Gabbana crystal embellished Dolce box bag, but this was a disappointing outing for Zooey.
