Diane Kruger Wore AMI Alexandre Mattiussi To The Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony
Diane Kruger attended the closing ceremony for the 2022 Cannes Film Festival held at the Palais des Festivals on Saturday (May 28) in France, with her partner Norman Reedus.
I had goosebumps when seeing Diane on the red carpet (something that hasn’t happened for a while – and only with Anne Hathaway during this festival).
Mostly because she looks so damn happy (which warms my heart), but also because she looked resplendent in this custom AMI Alexandre Mattiussi silver strapless dress.
It took me back to when she was on the jury in 2012, when she gave us memorable moments in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, Dior Haute Couture, Nina Ricci, and my personal favourite, Vivienne Westwood Couture.
I can’t believe that was all 10 years ago.
There is so much to love about this current look. The mesmeric silhouette, the train which falls from an oversized bow, and her Chaumet jewels.
Personally, I would’ve preferred mules to the ankle strap MACH & MACH double crystal bow PVC pumps, because I’m not a huge fan of how the hem and the strap are so close together, but that’s a nitpick in what was a glorious return to breath-taking form for Diane.
I missed this.
Karla Welch has massively helped Diane get her groove back. Long may this continue.
