Janelle Monáe Wore Christian Siriano To The 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

No doubt jaws were dropping when Janelle Monáe stepped onto the red carpet for the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 27).

The singer-actress is known for her quirky style and her love for all things black and white, so it should come as no surprise that she opted for this Christian Siriano Spring 2022 diamond-shaped cut-out dress accented with bold white buttons.

Yet here I am….surprised.

Surprised that Monot didn’t design this dress first.  It’s very much on brand for them.

And surprised to not see a more creative look from Janelle. She usually stands out for her uniqueness. But this has a “follow the trend” feel to it.

Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals completed her look.
