Ava DuVernay Wore Louis Vuitton To The 2022 Oscars

When I saw Ava DuVernay on the red carpet at the 2022 Oscars on Sunday (March 27), I screamed…. “FINALLY.”

After three attempts, Ava has made those Louis Vuitton Resort 2022 sleeves work.

Naomi Osaka was overwhelmed at the 2021 ESPY Awards.  As was Kate Hudson at The Academy Museum Of Motion Pictures Opening Gala.

Yes.  We need to take into account that Ava’s dress was custom made, so it would’ve been criminal for her to have to walk the red carpet with her arms totally overwhelmed with fabric.

I was pleased to see that the modification does still incorporate the drapery, and the embellishments.

We’re used to more colour from Ava, but I’m here for this new silhouette, the power of those shoulders, the Louis Vuitton clutch and her gorgeous updo.
