Cate Blanchett Wore Armani Prive To The 2022 Goya Awards

Cate Blanchett made her long awaited return to the red carpet for the 2022 Goya Awards held at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Spain on Saturday (February 12), having skipped promotion activities for ‘Don’t Look Up’ and ‘Nightmare Alley.’

But why was the Australian actress at the Spanish Oscars?

Cate was there to collect the first International Goya awarded by the Film Academy. 

She did so in grand style.  

My heart was filled with so much joy to see Cate walking the red carpet wearing Armani Prive once again.

The high-necked, crystal fringe, draped shoulder dress feels very contemporary despite its ’20s inspiration.

I have a feeling that some will compare this to Dakota Johnson’s Gucci dress worn to ‘The Lost Daughter’ Venice Film Festival premiere.

And this is exactly the first thing that sprang to my mind when I saw this design, but if you put them side by side, the crystal fringe work is what makes them comparable, as they are two different dresses.
