Lorena Cesarini Wore Valentino & Roberto Cavalli Hosting The 2022 Sanremo Music Festival
The 72nd Sanremo Music Festival took place in Italy last week, with Italian-Senegalese actress Lorena Cesarini co-hosting the event giving us five looks, and the much needed glamour we have been desperately waiting for in 2022.
Working with celebrity stylist Rebecca Baglini, Lorean’s first look for the press conference on Tuesday (February 1), Lorena wore a total Valentino ensemble.
Either I am completely starved (fashion-wise), or this is the first time I have found myself liking white tights.
Perhaps the tights are working because the rest of the look is all-white, or maybe she’s just doing an amazing job of selling this total outfit.
The look was styled with the same Valentino Tan-Go platform pumps which we saw on Kate Beckinsale recently. I don’t think this will be the last time we see them.
A yellow Valentino VLogo bag provided the only pop of colour to her look.
On Wednesday (February 2) Lorena kicked off the show in sparkling style wearing this embellished Valentino gown.
I don’t feel like this gown needed the Bvlgari necklace, but considering the prestigious nature of the event, I understand why she wore it.
When it comes to the bodice, I wish it was a little more flattering, or just fit a little bit better.
Later in the evening the actress swapped out the necklace for some dazzling earrings while also swapping one Valentino embellished gown for another.
Even though I feel like we’ve seen this dress before (but I can’t remember who right now) this look was much preferred over the first.
The colours are so complementary to her skin tone, it’s more flattering and perfectly styled.

I definitely remember where I saw this Roberto Cavalli Fall 2020 lion print dress before, because it has been worn both by Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian.
The dress was already iconic when it took to the runway, yet I don’t feel fatigue from seeing it a third time in a space of 12 months.

I have always had a bug bear about asymmetrical necklines and necklaces, but this Bvglari necklace with emerald and ruby stones is exquisite.
Even with the cut-outs on this Valentino dress was a little plain, so I love how the necklace elevates the look.
Lorena’s final look for the Sanremo Music Festival was her fourth Valentino dress for the night.
She set the stage ablaze in a frenzy of red sequins, which made the sultry cut-out secondary.
Teaming up with Bvlgari again, the look was complete with a signature Serpenti necklace.
