Kylie Minogue Wore Valentino Haute Couture & Saint Laurent For Her 'Kiss Of Life' Music Video

If you grew up in the ‘80s watching Kylie Minogue’s music videos you loved it for being fashion-filled and camp.

That was very much the vibe for her latest music video, ‘Kiss of Life’ which she stars in alongside Jessie Ware.

The video is said to be inspired by Chicas Almodovar, and that rings true when you take in the vibrancy and larger than life characters.

When it comes to the fashion, Kylie shared two images on her Instagram.

The one which instantly caught my eye was this Valentino Fall 2021 Haute Couture look – mostly for the feather hat which we’ve seen on Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Kacey Musgraves.

There are so many people I wanted to see wearing this hat – Rihanna, Zendaya, Florence Welch, and Doja Cat, and seeing Kylie now, I can’t believe she wasn’t on my original list.

There is something about the styling – shades especially, which had me wondering if this look was inspired by Patsy Stone from ‘Absolutely Fabulous.’

When I saw that Kylie added pink leather opera gloves, I’m wondering if I missed the memo that it’s opera glove season; they seem to be everywhere at the moment.

In the second shot, both ladies wore Saint Laurent.

Jessie’s Saint Laurent Resort 2021 polka dot shirt didn’t really work with the fringed skirt for me, but Kylie managed to make this Saint Laurent Fall 2021 tweed set – which feels like it was inspired by the ‘70s – work in the camp manner it was intended.
