The tennis player worked with Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière to create a gown which celebrated her multi-cultural American, Haitian, and Japanese heritage.
Between the obi belt and print, the look feels most heavily inspired by her Japanese heritage.
The look was of course styled with Louis Vuitton boots, which seems to be customary with any look from the fashion house.
I tried to find some information on her hair as I wanted to learn if there is some cultural significance to it, but I’m yet to find it.
