Beyonce Wore Givenchy In The 'About Love' Tiffany & Co. Ad Campaign

It appears to be jewelry season, as Eiza González and Priyanka Chopra were both announced as ambassadors for Bvglari, then Lily Collins for Cartier, now The Carters’ for Tiffany & Co.

The brand unveiled their first campaign images titled ‘About Love’ starring Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Both are wearing Givenchy. Beyonce’s black Givenchy dress pays homage to Audrey Hepburn Givenchy dress from the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Take away who is featured in the ad campaign, the other two most significant things are the 1982 painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat called ‘Equals Pi’ which has never been shown to the general public.

And the famous yellow Tiffany Diamond which has only been worn by four other women.

Those women are Mrs. E. Sheldon Whitehouse at the 1957 Tiffany Ball, Audrey Hepburn wore it at the center of a Jean Schlumberger Ribbon Rosette necklace, in publicity photos for Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Lady Gaga wore it to the 2019 Oscars and we will also see the necklace on Gal Gadot in her upcoming film ‘Death On The Nile.’

In an accompanying video set to be released on September 15 we will see Beyoncé singing a rendition of ‘Moon River’ to Jay-Z as an homage to the film ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ which is where the second dress comes in.

This dress was designed by Balmain. So it’s no surprise that we get a sultry look with the open back, from which the yellow Tiffany Diamond is revealed.
