Celebrities Love Mônot…LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF Event

The LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF charity event held at La Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri, Italy on Saturday (July 31), gave us EIGHT looks from Mônot, whose designs were there to steals the spotlight with their signature seductive glamour.

There were a lot of risqué Mônot looks, but as you will see, Maria Bakalova’s Spring 2021 dress was not one of them.

I love that she opted to remove the spaghetti straps from the dress, her simple styling with a Tyler Ellis clutch, but most of all that she maintained her usual style without going down the rabbit hole.

Not that there’s anything wrong with going down that rabbit hole.

Cindy Bruna possibly dug a whole new hole wearing this just the top from the Mônot Spring 2021 collection.

I don’t think this will be well received, but my immediate thoughts were this feels like an ode to the ‘80s supermodels – Linda Evangelista sprang to mind.

And I was also impressed with how well executed this look was.  If you’re going to serve up a look like this, you must do it with confidence, and conviction.

It’s not for everyone, but she nailed it for me.

Mônot Spring 2021 / Fall 2021

Olivia Culpo is a girl who is always trending, so I wasn’t surprised to see her in this Mônot mix wearing a two-piece Spring 2021 jagged edge look.

Dylan Penn wore a Mônot cut-out dress, which I think I could’ve got on board with, had it been worn by someone else.

Ever since being officially introduced to Dylan during Cannes, I have struggle to love anything she has worn.

Part of it has to do with her demeanour which screams, “I don’t really want to be here.”  So I find it really hard to connect with her.

Mônot Spring 2021

Lousita Cash, aka Lous and the Yakuza, rocked a custom Mônot look, so it is clear that the trouser length was either intentional, or that these trousers were supposed to be high-waisted.

Either way I think this is a great brand fit for the Belgium singer’s edgy sexy cool vibes.

I have become mildly obsessed with Tina Kunakey again ever since she gave us a stunning Cannes moment in Valentino Haute Couture.

This Mônot Fall 2021 cut-out dress is perhaps the most elegant cut-out dress I have ever seen.

Mônot Fall 2021

Lena Perminova wore a Mônot Fall 2021 dress which despite its cut-outs didn’t scream seductive to me. This was perhaps my least favourite design here.

Kristina Romanova wore custom Mônot gown which was one of the more understated looks of the night.
