‘Tout S’est Bien Passe (Everything Went Fine)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from Wednesday’s (July 7) ‘Tout S’est Bien Passe (Everything Went Fine)’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.

Candace Swanepoel’s ‘70s inspired fringed jumpsuit didn’t get much love from the day before, but I have a feeling that this second custom Etro look will be well received.

The look was oozing simple elegance, and I love the way she considered the crystal neckline by adding subtle jewels from Messika on this occasion.

Eva Herzigova was looking very statuesque wearing an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2021 look which is dazzling on one hand and imbued with a romantic spirit on the other.

Chopard jewels completed her look.

Usually I’m not a huge fan of shades on the red carpet, but there is something about Isabelle Huppert’s aura, and how they work with the mysterious energy of her Balenciaga Spring 2022 all black look which works for me.

She is looking every inch a badass and I’m loving it, even if I do wish she hadn’t opted for the bracelets over the sleeves.

Leonie Hanne’s Nicole + Felicia Couture green gown reminded me of Deepika Padukone’s Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown from the 2019 festival.

I love how it appeared that she had tiny birds or fairies dancing around her gown which added to the Disney fairy-tale feel of it all.

This was stunning in motion, I wish the photography captured it’s true beauty.

Elsa Zylberstein is one of the most consistent during this Festival over the years.

On this occasion she wore an Armani Privé royal blue dress which was enhanced with floral embellishments.

Messika jewels completed her look.

Andie MacDowell was back on the red carpet wearing a white Versace dress enriched with Swarovski crystals.

Some might feel that white and silver wasn’t the best choice for her, but I love energy right now.

Remember when Fan Bingbing wore this Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2021 dress?

The majority were not fans, but seeing it on Iris Berben just proves how much the Fan Bingbing elevate this piece.

Sophie Marceau lit up this red carpet wearing a black-striped, white Valentino Spring 2020 Haute Couture off-the-shoulder gown styled with Chopard jewels.

This is perhaps my favourite on this red carpet, as her elegance is undeniable.

Opera gloves have been trending lately, but thankfully Sophie opted out of them on this occasion.

Charlotte Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin were twinning in suits. Charlotte in Saint Laurent and Jane in Celine.

Charlotte may not be as polished as the other attendees, but she’s always presents her brand of glamour which is slightly dishevelled.
