Diane Kruger Wore Armani Prive To The ‘Tout S’est Bien Passe (Everything Went Fine)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Diane Kruger attended the ‘Tout S’est Bien Passe (Everything Went Fine)’ premiere during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (July 7) in France.

Cannes Film Festival so far for me, two days in, has been like trying to light a match on a windy day.

I have to believe that if I keep trying, one is going to ignite.

As Diane was doing the rounds at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, I knew she would eventually end up at Cannes.

Watching England qualify for the Euro 2020 final last night (our first final in over 50 years) I had one eye on Getty, and I was feeling lukewarm towards Diane wearing this custom Armani Prive gown.

I assumed that it was because I wasn’t giving it my full attention, but in the cold light of day, that underwhelming feeling remains.

What is the issue?

The fit for one.  It looks way too big for her, starting with the loose bodice which isn’t that flattering on her.

I think a different style of waistband (metal perhaps) would’ve snatched in the waist and added some modernity to this look.

As much as the bottom half is sparkling, I’m not dazzled by it.

Also, the hair accessory felt a bit juvenile to me.

I’m not sure this will feeling will be shared, but if Diane can’t set this Festival alight, I’m actually worried what the next 10 days will bring, but I will try to remain optimistic.
