H.E.R. Wore Valentino To The 2021 CMT Music Awards

H.E.R. made her country music debut at the 2021 CMT Music Awards held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 9) in Nashville, Tennessee.  

During the telecast, the singer performed ‘Hold On’ with Chris Stapleton which was very well received by the audience who enjoyed this musical mash-up perfectly fusing their R&B and country music sounds.  

H.E.R. ‘s love for super long wide-leg trousers was shelved for the night, as she hit the red carpet wearing a  black net turtleneck and flared skirt from the Valentino Fall 2021 collection.  

I do love how she gave us something new, but at the same time I’m not particularly wowed by the look.  

The net top makes me Kanye shrug, and sparkling Gedebe boots – placed to enliven the look – are the only thing of real interest here.  

Her Dundas look for the 2021 Oscars is still her best look of the year so far for me.
