Katy Perry Wore Bottega Veneta On American Idol

Before taking her hot seat, Katy Perry posted this look on Instagram with the caption “are you watching westcoast… it’s a wild one cause we’re legit live and @paulaabdul is sitting in @lukebryan’s seat and we’re trending on twitter halp #americanidol”

The judge has never been shy about making bold statements on the show…remember her Haute Couture look for Valentine’s Day.

On this occasion she wore a Bottega Veneta Spring 2021 high shine leather dress.

I love the cut, the colour and the simple styling as Katy tends to go overboard in that department, but I’m trying to figure out if I like this fabric.

I’m coming from a standpoint of comfortability while seated, and leather squeaks it will make with every movement.

But I will also say that had this been in a fabric like crepe for example, this look would’ve been giving off a cabin crew vibe, so I’m not entirely sure where I stand with this look.
