Regina King Wore Christopher John Rogers To The 2021 Costume Designers Guild Awards

Regina King was back on the virtual red carpet for the 2021 Costume Designers Guild Awards on Tuesday (April 13), which saw ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ and ‘Mulan’ among the winners.

Whenever Regina is on the red carpet, she’s the only winner in my eyes.

Her stylists Wayman and Micah have managed to maintain this flawless, pitch perfect, level of consistency with Regina which continues to leave me in awe.

The actress wore a stunning Christopher John Rogers neon orange gown from designers Spring 2021 collection.

This was a beautiful gown in the lookbook, but with the modifications made to tailor the bodice and streamline the skirt, I feel like looking at an entirely different dress on Regina.

Just those few adjustments took this dress from ready to wear, to Haute Couture in my eyes.

I thought nothing could top her Louis Vuitton look from the 2021 Golden Globes, but this might be it.

Bvlgari jewels, Stuart Weitzman and an elegant top knot completed this jaw dropping look.

If she manages to top this at the Oscars, I will be typing from the after-life.
