Tracee Ellis Ross was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for ‘Black-Ish,’ and Best Actress in a Motion Picture for ‘The High Note,’ at the 2021 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (March 27), so she presented two looks for each nod.
We of course have to start off with the most elaborate from Schiaparelli’s Fall 2021 ready-to-wear collection.
I was really surprised that the majority of the comments on Tracee’s Jimmy Fallon look felt that the actress was starting to believe her own hype, and that she was trying a little too hard.
Those comments might also be applied to this look, but without the gold bird headpiece and the white platforms, this look – despite the puffy detail around the hips – would be pretty plain.
Personally, I live for Tracee’s theatrics. She always brings plenty of fun and energy to her looks.
But in saying that, this Alberta Ferretti Fall 2021 jumpsuit was my favourite of the two.
I love how this one-piece taps into the label’s uniquely elegant vision, with gold Tiffany & Co. jewels elevating the look from the runway.
Another pair of platforms, this time from Giuseppe Zanotti, and Ana Khouri Phillipa gold ring completed her look.
