After an awards season that many would call underwhelming, Margot Robbie had one last chance to redeem herself in your eyes at the 2020 Oscars on Sunday (February 9) in LA.

Did she do it?

I’m not sure. But, I do think that this Chanel Spring 1994 Haute Couture gown might find more support for a few reasons.

Yes, it was black like her last time out, so the darker romance remained.

But, the vintage romance of this look with the fairytale-princess sleeves adds some whimsicality — and it’s refreshing to see an actress actually pull from the archives.
