Kristen Wiig In Valentino Haute Couture - 2020 Oscars

Kristen Wiig may as well take the title for the most controversial dress on the red carpet at the 2020 Oscars on Sunday (February 9) at the Dobly Theatre in Hollywood.

While Twitter is currently debating whether Kristen looks like a lasagna or not, I have to say the look reminds me more of a lobster.

Regardless, being told you look like a meal certainly isn’t the best compliment a star can receive.

Taken from the Valentino Spring 2020 Haute Couture collection, the red dress features side ruffles and a short train, which seem to create the culinary vibes.

Objectively, I appreciate the structural effort of the dress paired with the black gloves.

Kristen’s hair and makeup look exceptionally good for the comedian.

But the gold Christian Louboutin ‘Maia Labella’ pumps? I would have gone with another color.

Was this one of the rare cases where couture is too bold even for the red carpet?
