Kelly Marie Tran In Schiaparelli Haute Couture – 2020 Oscars

From being the first Asian American actress to play a major role in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise to being the first Asian woman on the cover of Vanity Fair, Kelly Marie Tran breaks boundaries.
With little surprise, she tackled another challenge, this time sartorial, on the red carpet of the 2020 Oscars on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
There are dresses you wear and dresses that wear you.
With its voluminous skirt and extra long bodice, the ball gown from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 Haute Couture certainly had the ability to do the latter.
Yet Kelly held her own with her confidence and fierce pose.
Understanding the power of the gown, the actress wisely paired the look with simple chain earrings and loose hair.
Having faced harassment for her role in ‘The Last Jedi’ the actress proved her strength with a dress that spoke volumes.
