Aubrey Plaza In Alexander McQueen – 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Aubrey Plaza was the host of the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 8) in Santa Monica, California.

We know Aubrey for her love for shorts and short skirts, but on this occasion she turned to tailoring, and not the classic kind, as this Alexander McQueen blazer and matching trousers from the Fall 2019 collection featured dual colours and draping.

Of all the romantic looks that took to this red carpet, this was a different type of romance, a gothic romance which is Alexander McQueen, and Sarah Burton’s signature.

I’m glad that Aubrey didn’t feel the need to over acessorize, as the look was bold enough to stand alone.

The red lip added a playful flourish, with a TASAKI Atelier Surge ring providing the finishing touch.
