Mindy Kaling In Carolina Herrera – 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Mindy Kaling was always likely to bring a burst of colour to the red carpet for the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 8) in Santa Monica, California, and I love her for that.

But the drama wasn’t only reserved for the colour..oh no.

Oversized puff sleeves add striking volume to this Carolina Herrera floral dress from my favourite Resort 2020. I’m glad this collection hasn’t been totally shelved by stylists just yet.

I adore the sleek mermaid cut and how the cold-shoulder cut-outs work to create a modern statement garment.

Yes, I would’ve loved to have seen sandals rather than pumps, but the they add to the class and sophistication of this look along with the classic Roger Vivier clutch.
