Gabrielle Union Wore Rosie Assoulin To The Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards Luncheon

Gabrielle Union joined Billy Porter, Ella Balinska and Kerry Washington on the red carpet for the 13th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards Luncheon held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday (February 6) in California.

What I love about Gabrielle’s style is that she never lets us sown when it comes to designs which have fun, and often unexpected details.

On this occasion I found myself blown away by the print of this Rosie Assoulin Resort 2020 two -piece – which also appeared on Karen Gillan and Cynthia Evro’s look from the same collection, yet it still feels so vibrant and new.

As it’s screen-printed for a unique, punchy finish, it adds more drama to the volume in the skirt and the puffed sleeves.

I’m glad she didn’t go heavy on the accessories, as the simple white sandals and red lip was all that was needed considering the braided up steals a lot of focus.
