Kerry Washington Wore Lanvin To The Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards Luncheon

Kerry Washington attended the 13th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards Luncheon held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday (February 6) in California.

I’ve been saying that ‘American Son’ star is back to her very best for some time now, but some of you weren’t so convinced following her Altuzarra Golden Globes look.

Like Ella Balinska, Kerry wore a look from the Lanvin Spring 2020 collection, but this look presented a very different vibe.

This look is giving me bold fearless warrior queen; African Queen, which sees Kerry dressed in a lined fringed leather halter and skirt which are both studded and mirror embellished.

Perhaps some are thinking that this would’ve been better suited Danai Gurira or Lupita Nyong’o, but Kerry is here to prove that she’s back on her very best form, and can hang with the major players.

A By Far mini bag, Loriblu sandals and Harry Kotlar studs completed this, better than expected, look.

I’m saluting Law Roach right now.  He’s really giving my girl some flavour.
