Sofia Carson In Giambattista Valli Haute Couture – 2020 Golden Globe Awards

As one of the hosts of the ‘HFPA Presents Globes Red Carpet Live’ pre-show, Sofia Carson was one of the first we saw on the red carpet of the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) in Beverly Hills, CA.

If her gown is any indication of how the night will go — style-wise — we are in for a treat,  a very sweet one.

The clouds of tulle won’t come as any surprise, given this is a Giambattista Valli Fall 2019 Haute Couture design. It is also not the first time Sofia has donned a dramatic tulle GV moment, nor was it the first time she’s worn a pink GV creation, or the second time, and it likely won’t be her last on all accounts.

But, I loved the poufs of ballet-pink, cotton-candy drama presented here with this dress that was rather dreamy.

I’m glad she kept her styling on the simple-romantic side with blush-pink makeup hues and loose curls.
