Lupita Nyong’o Goes from Prada To Danielle Frankel For The ‘Us’ Screening & NAACP Dinner

Lupita Nyong’o attended the screening for ‘Us’ before the NAACP LDF 33rd National Equal Justice Awards Dinner at Cipriani 42nd Street on Thursday (November 7) in New York City.

‘Us’ New York Screening:  I did swoon at this bright red hue.  It’s such a strong, captivating colour for Lupita.  A Lupita look doesn’t always require a lot of detail.  This custom Prada dress was able to make a statement with its nipped in waist and pleated skirt.  I love the dress, but I adore the shoes.

NAACP LDF 33rd National Equal Justice Awards Dinner: The Dior bar jacket continues to be a source for inspiration for many designers.  That is what immediately came to mind when I saw Lupita in this Danielle Frankel Spring 2020 tailored suit jacket dress.  Why was this is white?  Well, Danielle Frankel, who was the 2019 CFDA Fashion Fund’s 1st runner-up, is known as a bridal designer, and this look does hail from her bridal collection.
