At first glance, this looks like a relatively simple red gown, but the open back changes everything. I love that unexpected detail, particularly with the draping at the lower back. The colour is fantastic on Carrie, and the Repossi jewellery complements the look.

Q&A

Carrie Coon second look was a black Carolina Herrera Fall 2026 dress featuring the label’s Good Girl shoe print.

Between the exaggerated shoulders, gathered waist and playful print, there’s a definite ’80s feel to this look, which I love. I also don’t miss the white belt from the runway, as the dress has enough going on without it. The pale pink pumps work beautifully with the print, making this a fun look from head to toe.

Two very different looks, but it’s the Valentino gown that wins for me. That open back sealed it for me.

Stylist: Alicia Lombardini.
